Why do some people think Gen 10 will be announced or at least teased in this month’s Pokemon Presents when pic released hasn’t even come out yet?

I feel like they will only because it seems ZA has zero hype

Or at the least we get a tease in late November
Realistically patternfags probably think it’s because we get a new Gen every 3 years, but the anniversary wait makes more sense in 2026

Some are mong idiots, some are disingenuous shitposters and the rest are hopium addled fucktards, all driven insane by the fact they took an enforced gap year, due to Nintendo delaying the Switch 2.
Mind, I'd rather have gone through the reality we did, than the alternative of the system and game last year, then have another year of telling the aforementioned they're not going to release a new Gen in 2025, because they'd want to tie it to the 30th anniversary. It's not as egregious only having to tell them for 6 or so months. Especially since they'd spent the whole of last year convincing themselves L: Z-A was due 27/02/25 and expected game news every major milestone of the Pokémon calendar.

>Realistically patternfags probably think it’s because we get a new Gen every 3 years
Proper patternfags know they take a gap year every 10 to line up the latest new Gen release with the anniversary (DP due '05, pushed back to '06/3rd Gen 6 game cancelled, '15 left bare). After SV DLC it was up in the air, ILCA and Pokémon Works were a thjing, so a new game could have launched for '25, if L: Z-A and Switch 2 launched last year but after they stated "2025" for it, it was clear that WAS the gap year and this year would likely have been bare. They're going to mark anniversaries with new Gens forever it seems, even if the first was a fluke but when they cancelled XY2 to get SM finished for the 20th, it cemented the idea. If that means taking a gap year to finagle it to line up, so be it.

>SV was November 18, 2022
>that's 2 years and 7 months ago

>generations last exactly 3 years
>therefore we should be getting generation 10 this year in november
>...if not it will be either 4 years generation, which is unusual
>...or gen 10 will come earlier so it should be announced like now

it's not that hard retards

No it’s not going to be the last gen. that’s impossible. there’s going to be a couple more generations in the future. so why do you say that?

They're not gonna just stop. What they should do is be like with Mario Kart or Smash with a new gen of pokemon once per console gen. Remakes and sequel games will still be made. But that schedule might be too slow for them for merch and such.

We already know from Bank datamines LONG ago there were two open slots for two more Gen 6 games in the code after they'd moved onto Gen 7 cunt. Go fuck yourself, your childhood WAS that fucking disposable.

They would have annoounced it as "Early 2026" in that case. Not given a flat "Currently in development" message, that implies it's either only started or still too far away as to want to announce a date in case of any delays.

So which one are you? Mong idiot, disingenuous shitposter or hopium-addled fucktard? Because they ain't saying squat about Gen 10 until next Pokémon day. Just like they wait till Pokémon day to reveal new Gen games every other fucking new Gen lead-in.

Different audiences. People who buy Mario Kart on a system would not buy a second iteration of it, unless it was a DRASTIC improvement over the previous version and for that reason alone, Nintendo keep it to one a system to allow the tech upgrade to do most the heavy lifting. Pokémon's aimed at 7 year olds and doesn't follow a generation of kids to adulthood and elderly life, so it CAN get away with releasing on their schedule. Every new Gen sees a completely different blend of 7 year olds to the last, meaning they're all just as likely to buy in, as the older children and adults are to return.
