I'm 30, autistic as shit and have a strong attachment to the main series games. I only ever watched the anime up until DP, never got into any other avenues of the franchise beyond the occasional spin off title. There are a lot of different video games I enjoy, but Pokémon games are a safety blanket of sorts to me, they soothe me when I'm stressed.

I'm 34 and I still play the games, yes even the new ones. SV is actually one of my fav gens. It's what made me come back to this board.
If anything, it's weird how kids are still getting into Pokémon these days. The fact that they managed to keep Pokémon relevant after several decades after Pokémania is honestly impressive. They truly made it timeless.
Also I hate how this board is full of young zoomers and literal underage children. They are easy to spot at least.
