is Zork any good? I've considered using one several times but never gone through with it.
Illusion feels like an ability for enemies to use against the player, like Disable or confusion, but the game never uses it.

I appreciate how in earlier games, you couldn't send a giftmon straight to the PC. you needed an empty slot in your party for it. it made accepting the mon feel like more of a commitment, something that you would actually say no to if you didn't intend to use the mon for anything.
but on the other hand, this thing is going straight into my PC. i only got it to fill out my pokedex.
