They’re my favorite ‘sub’ legends so yeah. I was instantly a fan when they revealed Tapu Koko. The way their shells resemble totem poles and their respective inspirations is really cool. I like the way their eyes look like Dragon TMs as well. Ash vs Koko was peak. Terrains are a really cool twist on weather even if a little overwhelming at times. Their signature (Z) Move being a Super Fang clone seems pretty fitting considering how unorthodox they are. Speaking of which, I like how they’re guardians while not being inherently selfless. Koko is fickle, Lele is cruel, Bulu is lazy yet wrathful, and Fini is manipulative. It’s a nice take on Legendaries who are usually seen as forces of nature with little sense of self. Fini having the ability to connect and potentially trap people in the afterlife in the anime is such a cool idea. Their Shinies are top tier and their battle theme is so good. The Battle Royal being inspired by their occasional battles to see who’s the best is a neat bit of lore. They’ve also been said to have fought the box arts and sworn to protect Cosmog for future generations.

I haven’t stopped playing Sun since it came out and honestly I haven’t thought of them in ages. Possibly the most forgettable trio/quartet.
