PLA is an amazing Pokemon game. Initially I was very negative towards it... until I actually played it. Now it's one of my favorite Pokemon games ever. The art style is incredibly spot on. The postgame is great. The story is very good too. I still don't like the action parts of the game (battling the Noble Pokemon and calming them with balms). Once you beat these, the rest is fantastic.

Game's plot is held back by it's E Rating. Should've allowed it to be rated T and tried to make something more geared for the older audience.
And I don't mean making it edgy, gory, or adding swearing. Just write a story you know you couldn't do within the constraints of the normal Pokemon games and their E rating.

Excellent game, I've been playing it again recently trying to go for my 10th star and completing the dex. Somehow PLA looks and performs much better than SV. The game has fun catching and battling mechanics, and gives you more of a reason to go explore and catch stuff. Very easy shiny hunting is a nice bonus.
