Unlike the Star Wars Prequels things that came out after it being worse didn't save it. They unopened pandora's box with the gimmicks, washed out colors and stiff idle animations

It was fine at first, online was amazing during that time.
But as the years went by, Gen 6 just keeps getting worse and worse. Online really was the only thing that saved it at first.
Plus it was ultimately the catalyst that made me realize the series was getting worse, I just didn't realize until Let's Go, and then SwSh doubled down.
