Coming up with a Fakemon region in my head and the Fire starter is likely to end up Fire/Fairy.
Fairy/Ground would work for something like a naked mole rat. They burrow in the ground and are naked pink, so I feel like it'd work.

I see this, but if you build Ground mono-type teams, you'll know they have a soft weakness to Dark moves. For a while Krookodile was the only Dark resist Ground had until Great Tusk. And while there are a lot of Ground/Steel types, the immunity to Dragon and super-effective STAB is really nice since Mamoswine doesn't resist and the Steel options for super effective damage are limited to targeting a Dragon's secondary typing.
