The solution is digital card games. Can't be scalped. My nephews/nieces play TCG Pocket and enjoy that, and I sometimes battle/trade with them. I remember being a kid in the 00's and going to a game store to buy Yugioh cards. It had some adults but everyone was pretty chill and polite. They'd invite you to join their events or just ask if you like the anime etc you know normal adult-kid interactions.

It's the adults going overboard buying 3+ ETBs, multiple Booster boxes, entire rows of triple blisters/single blisters from their local stores, using bots to scoop up everything online in a matter of seconds. i.e. the scalpers and investorbros. It's them making it impossible for kids to get cards.
