What were they supposed to do, Kneecap it so CHARIZARD looks better? It needs a move that broken to survive with how broken powecreep has gotten. Granted they should have toned down the broken stuff and done a better at buffing the older shitmons but it is what it is

They could always redistribute charizard's stats or changing it's ability or give it a busted signature move if they really want it to be stronger it's not like gamefreak hasn't already done all of these to buff other older mons
