So I just picked up legends Arceus and I began thinking, what’s the chance gamefreak sees the success of the Zelda team reusing and upgrading the Breath of the Wild map to create Tears of the Kingdom, and decide to do that with legends Arceus? What if they remade Platinum but in the style of Scarlet and Violet as an “apology” for the poor quality of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, basically forcing loads of people to essentially buy DPP remakes twice in one decade?
I mean it’s not that crazy is it? Port the map into the SV engine, add the dungeons as separate entities, add detail on top of the already existing map to add the cities, towns and routes etc and so fourth. It’d take some finagling to keep players on a beaten linear path like the original but I don’t see why it couldn’t work.
Plus maybe it’s just me, but why the fuck would the announce a Pokémon presents 2 months in advance if there isn’t at least something big coming up?
