I think FRLG is one of the best Pokemon games ever. My favorite thing about FRLG is the game's atmosphere and art style, as well as its features (Sevii Islands, Trainer Tower, VS Seeker, Fame Checker, etc). What do you guys think about FRLG? Personally, while I know that HGSS, Platinum, Emerald and BW2 have more content, I think they all lack something that FRLG has that sets it apart.

It's atmosphere is nothing to comment on and the artstyle is borderline atrocious. When it comes to being able to pick up the game and play for hours on end, it's certainly the winner for me. Feels almost arcade like the more you play it. Very different vibe to every other game imo.

FRLG is a very convenient game, which is actually a rarity in Pokemon and something it largely accomplished by being a faithful remake of Gen 1.
All the other games have shit like night only Pokemon or weekly/daily events while in FRLG you can just play it and see everything at your own pace.
