Because they don't have to. They have a potted garden of faggot children to utterly neutralise any and all adult demand (because why honestly waste time and effort trying to make SUCH a diverse demographic as "teenagers and adults" happy all at once? Especially after they grew a market of teens and adults who don't care it is what it is and play it anyway as they enjoy it).
The two problems I see are spergy fuckwit "adults" cannot accept their childhood was 10+ years ago and Game Freak don't give a fuck about trying to cater to those self-same "adults" when doing what they've done continuously for the last almost 30 years has seen the IP become the biggest multimedia brand on the planet. So what if some spergy fucking 21 year old can't into, there's people out there have a Switch for every member of the family and the money to buy more, if they breed up ANOTHER child. And they'll happil;y buy pogeymans games to keep the chisellers happy.
