wtf was nintendo thinking? Like what was the point of this game other than a quick cashgrab? Like you couldn't add new areas, or make it like BW2 where it's 2 years in the future and there is a slightly different layout? They had 3d models for the trainers and should have used those in the overworld instead of those shitty chibi models (obviously they'd have to make the overworld look different, i'm not suggesting they just slap the 3d models into the current looking overworld). Or they should have done like a hd2d style like how square enix is doing.

Only positive thing I can say about these games is the music. That's it. Otherwise it was so safe of a remake that it's painful. When it comes to the games its like tpci is allergic to putting in effort

Even after the patch, it was passable, none of it was worth keeping. Though, that might be because Masters' music is so fucking good that it eclipses a lot of the main music.
