yes it is, it evolves into 2 pokemon

I guess it's part of an evolutionary line without having evos or prevos, kinda like how Tauros and Miltank are a line.

Fun fact: The only time you can get Shedinja in anything but the standard Pokeball is Gen III (Where Shedinja adopts the Pokeball of whatever Nincada had) and Gen VIII (Where Shedinja can be caught in the Wild Area via a rare Dynamax encounter)
