I don't understand why we haven't got Explorers DX yet, its the only PMD game that wouldn't be a commercial failure. Explorers is WAY more popular than Rescue Team.

It's Chunsoft we are talking here, they don't have to release a yearly Mystery Dungeon game. Hell, they don't NEED to release Mystery Dungeon games to some extend thanks to VNs like the Science Adventure games, Danganronpa or Rain;Code
We also got Shiren 6 like a year ago, so don't expect a new MD, much less a PMD, any time soon

And that's only on Chunsoft side of things, TPC/Nintendo is the one calling the shots when it comes to spin-offs.
Chunsoft can't just make a PMD (the same way it can't make another Torneko or Etrian game without approval)

For a sequel, what kind of things would you guys like to see to differentiate it from the previous entries? For me

Yeah, after not having a proper game for like a decade (Shiren 5 Switch/Steam is just a port of a port of a DS game) let alone one of the most famous and beloved game series in Japan

It certainly shows you only care for PMD.
Granted I do hope there might be a game in the next direct (reminder its TPC who greenlights this shit, PMD/Etrian/Torneko aren't in Chunsoft official page)
