Why would Bamco trust ILCA with two of it's flagship franchises (Idolm@ster/Ace Combat) if BDSP was that bad?

Maybe they weren't that bad after all and you should show them some GR@TITUDE?

Gee, it's almost like the game that came out a month before BDSP was the project that they had actual time to develop and helped them form a working relationship with Bamco. Also, it sounds like they just botched Pokemon hard as they haven't made a Pokemon game since BDSP and for all we know are off the Hope project at this point, not to mention if Bamco owns them TPC will probably not want ILCA's fingers in the game.

No. Unlike the previous remakes this one is extremely faithful to the source games when it really shouldn't have. Then again Sinnoh as a whole was awful, even Platinum, so there was just no saving it
