>>57998849None of that bullshit matters anon. It WOULD if Pokémon was attempting to target solely teens and adults, as the manchildren infesting the place are jiffy-quick to tell the world, the games suck when compared to games targeting them. But the franchise as a whole much less the games DOESN'T target teens and adults, they end up as bonus sales by proxy (due to either just growing out of the target demographic but not yet "snotty faggot teenager" to fully reject it or adults who accepted the series boundaries and intents and still buy in to play it anyway). Thing targets kids, whole franchise is set up to market itself directly at them and every three years adjust for a fresh set of 7 year olds growing into the thing. And "from a publisher's perspective" Nintendo don't give a fuck (there's still glitches galore in BotW/TotK you know. Shamefur dispray from first party). The sales of the consoles alongside Pokémon's game sales more than makes up for the manchild internet's opinion on the highest grossing multimedia franchise in the world. Ad as we all know, Game Freak utterly ignore self-same manchild internet when it comes to the nitty-gritty of making their games, even if they'll make the same crowd a game (as that earns both they and Nintendo lots of money regardless of what they ultimately think of it "coughthebattlefrontierprojecthasstartedcough*).
The problem is you're treating it like every other western 16+ game dev studios and not actual kid focused game devs. And I can safely say Pokémon's stuff is more vital and vivid than every other studio playing in the age bracket's is, including Disney due to wanting to do a full-cast crossover.
