>After defeating the main game of Legends Z-A mysterious energy flows out from Lumiose city causing strange zones where Colossal Pokemon can be fought. Not to be confused with Dynamax or Gigantamax, these Giant Pokemon operate like Normal Pokemon, but much bigger. There are two Colossal type raids: Wild Encounters and Defense Encounters. In Wild Encounters, this is similar to Dynamex/Terrastial Raid/Dens; however Defense is neat, because you have to stop a Colossal Pokemon from reaching Lumiose city, lest it causes a rampage. There are also area defense raids, where the Colossal Pokemon arises in that area and you have to keep its attention within that area, or lose the raid. You can be knocked out during these Active Defense raids.

You can also Colossalize your own Pokemon, but only in Defense raids.

Capturing Colossal Pokemon essentially results in great amount of items, special moves, special stats, and further story.
