Why was this never used in tournaments? It would be better to watch matches played on this.

It’s been a while so I cant quite remember the exact details or what it was about the move sets and teams being visible but the accuracy of hypnosis was way off. Instead of being a relatively low accuracy move it was an easy hit, so hypnosis teams were notably more powerful in BR than in the mainline games

We don't actually know this for sure, because all of the forms added post-DP were restricted, so they couldn't be legal even if they were coded in
Personally I think it's plausible they were implemented and this version was planned to be used as a Platinum update like what they did for My Pokemon Ranch, but that was dropped for whatever reason
