It really depends on the game and the meta. Digimon for example was super diverse and had like 20 viable decks at one point able to legitimately compete for first place in tournaments. The last set was pretty dire, was around 6 viable decks now they rebounded and we are back to 14 meta decks and a few more rogue decks.

Then you have One Piece which is really popular, but the meta is dog shit with only 6 meta decks. So it all depends on the meta. The problem with pocket however, is not even viability, but the deck size limit and old cards being powercreeped too fast.

The shop exchange rate is 1:10 so 10x the token price in shinedust would be sensible if that's any indication. Which I hope it is, most day 1 players (even f2p) would have enough to trade for anything they'd realistically want from now on.
