When I was a kid, I loved Bulbasaur from the anime, but Venusaur ruined everything. Then, I became a CharizardChad.

Golem is awesome but that's my second choice

I was always for Charizard as my #1 but wouldn't have minded any of the other starters until I saw that Venusaur was what Bulbasaur winded up as, then that was one starter less than I'd have entertained using, in fact Charizard became the perfect choice because then the rival used Blastoise and nobody had to look at Venusaur
