If Pokémon existed in our world instead of animals, which ones would end up being notoriously endangered species on the path to extinction and what would be the leading factors? I'll start.

>Spheals are often hunted due to their docile nature and rotund physique making them easy targets for poaching in various habitats. They are often taken in masses when they come up onto beaches to bask in the sun, mate or rest. They are seen as valuable to poachers due to being rich in meats and blubber. Global warming is also a leading factor to their decline due to habitat loss.

Ice-types in general because of global warming.
Fish Pokemon due to ocean pollution.
Goldeen and Seaking especially, also because both its horn and fins are very popular and therefore popular by fishermen.
Paras and Parasect, the Tiny and Big Mushroom are easy money.

Vanilluxe and it's previous forms are in rapid decline across the world due to global
warming causing their bodies to dissolve at an abnormal rate, drastically lowering
their life expectancy.

Oh no! The oceans are rising! They've been rising for the past 50 years but Lilycove city is still there, untouched? Huh? Leave it to team aqua to spread lies.

You’re both wrong. Both Team Aqua and Magma would deny GCC exists because it suits their agendas. Maxie would think higher temperatures would evaporate more water leading to more land and because he’s retarded won’t realize anything’s wrong until shit hits the fan much like the actual games. Archie would know GCC is real but wouldn’t say shit about it because rising sea levels suits his agenda. And then once humanity gets fucked he’d shrug and say that was the idea all along.

so pretty much just 1:1 with the IRL animals they're based on

but I'd imagine sandshrews/sandslashes would fare quite a lot better than IRL pangolins by merit of being more wildly distributed around the world, particularly in countries with actual wildlife protection laws such as japan, america, france, and britain
granted this is assuming that we're putting pokemon into the IRL areas that the ingame locations you can find them in are based on, but to be fair some mons/evolutionary lines are based on multiple IRL animals and the sandshrew line is based on multiple insectivorous animals that happen to have durable skin/scales and sharp claws due to ecological adaptations for the same niche

This thing is just asking to get eaten by everything under the sun unless they repopulate as efficiently as roaches or rabbits. They wouldn't last a decade without captive/domestic care.

but they dont die either right? are all mythicals immortal, amortal, or are some possibly mortal guys? i am no lore expert myself so i would assume mons like jirachi or mew are immortal/amortal, but there are mons like zarude or magearna that dont seem so mythical or godly at all and seem like they definetely will die eventually?

I wonder if that reflects what happens when one population imposes imperialism over another and they refuse to propagate their ways through now life.
Issac Newton said something like that his greatest achievement was his celibacy and semen retention is apparently verray healthy for you.

I mean, celibacy and semen retention is good. That means you are working on your discipline and self control, not being dominated by lust.
On the other hand, you are fucking stupid by not sleeping with girls or at least try to have a family. The best thing you can leave beyond your teachings and creations is a family legacyy that will look upon your values and morals, and help the world be a better place.

Neither would deny it because Magma wants more land not less, and Aqua wouldn't want it to happen "like that".

Chansey is already pretty rare in the main games, but I imagine it would be way more likely to get hunted down unless humans farmed it in the same way people would probably farm Miltank. Aside from that, maybe Blipbug since it's basically designed to get eaten up by all the other caterpillar Pokémon and Ledyba.
