I use it a lot in online doubles, iron defence + body press with its galactic defence is pretty good, Wide Guard has helped me multiple times, and -I assume- power spot has grabbed a few kills. It's a bit shallow in its uses, but i've made it work.
my fave is scarfed a-golem and stonjourner; galvanize and power spot boosted explosion, while stonjourner wide guards to protect itself from it (and any potential EQs, surfs, astral barrage etc), then a quick sweeper to take the place of golem to snipe anything left or anyone coming in, also boosted by power spot.

I also happen to love the guys design, very lovable.

These things waste their turns in wild battles using wide guard, making them easy to battle to reset the Virizion spawn while no reset shiny hunting it.
