Ok seriously, what the fuck is this place and why did they just leave it greyed out after adding 2 entirely different maps? Some people assume it's a southern extension of Kalos. (Which wouldn't be surprising if it was with all the Kalos teasing up to Z-A) But by some off chance they eventually revisit this spot, or at least tease it next week (which is unlikely) what do you think it was suppose to be?

Gay freak is creatively bankrupt and just slaps theme park maps on top of actual maps of Europe for it's nuslop kusoge.

The mountains that connect Paldea to southern Kalos, theoretically.
Practically it's just a really lazy implementation of a map border without making Paldea an island.

Its possible the dlc was meant tk go there at some point but I think its just some extra land that gives them some flexibility in the future. If they want to connect paldea to another region then theres no need to retcon anything, the land is there.

I honestly find it kinda funny in a sad way how in both Gen 8 and 9 there were rumors of a return to France (since both Britain and Iberia border it), only to turn out to be nothingburgers.

I never believed Kalos would be accesible but would it have killed them to at least make the giant stone wall look like Kalos? I don't care if its just some low-poly thing, anything's better than this stretched texture eyesore and getting to actually see Kalos from afar could've built hype
