Has Pokémon ever hyped up a Presents like this before?

I feel like there's been more emphasis on the countdown this year, because they had the really cute video series leading up to Pokémon Day. But I do feel this has gotten more attention than past Presents.

How many Presents did they reveal in the past 2 months before airdate? I'm pretty sure they do this shit for the videos they announce a week beforehand too. But you kids are actually in uncharted waters - the first proper news drought AND the first gap year where they do absolutely nothing for a year all rolled into one. They're likely making sure all the peon normalfags are aware they have a video dropping (as not every cunt who's into Pokémon can match the average /vp/ luser's power level over it).

They HAVE to hype it up because people already forgot LZA exists or that there's a Pokemon Presents in the first place.
This shit was supposed to come out last year but the Switch 2 Delay assfucked everything, and the terms didn't allow them to simply release the Switch 1 version on its own because it was meant to be a title to promote the Switch 2 first and foremost, and we already saw how godawful the game ran on Switch 1.

That's what I mean. Fennekin should have been the fire starter instead of Tepig. At least have one of the starters be from Kalos.

Chespin would probably be equally or less liked than Chikorita and Greninja was shown off so much during gen 6 that people would be sick of it (*again) if they did it again.

I know that Delphox is not as well liked as its pre-evos (oh my god searching through old forums from gen 6 is brutal), but Emboar is sooo much worse. You see it in every thread about ZA, people talking about how much they don't like Emboar and wish it was something else.

Fennekin is cute like Tepig and Braixen is much more popular than Pignite (which is basically just Emboar with less designs on it) and I really really wanted to play with Delphox.

Delphox and it's pre-evos are my favorite Pokemon and it just pisses me off that it doesn't look like they're going to anything I'd be interested in once the starters were announced and the Megas that were leaked (including Mega Delphox, which looked absolutely awesome) were confirmed to be fan made fakes, and that Delphox will very likely not have a Mega at all.

It's the Pokemon Z disappointment all over again. Why couldn't they have just finally made Pokemon Z instead of this shit? My theory is that they never even started production on Z at all despite all the hints at it's eventual existence they scattered throughout the games and the show and elsewhere. They scrapped it so they could make the 30th anniversary game be of a new generation. Now they're releasing a bullshit game nobody is looking forward to because they want to focus on gen 10 and the 30th anniversary ASAP.

They never make the native starters of the region the starters for Legends games. Plus, Tepig needs the spotlight more since it's one of Pokemon's most neglected starter lines. I'm sure there's going to be something for the Kalos starters and they will be readily available to obtain early game, so don't lose heart for Fennekin.
