What exactly is the point of post-game routes?
They always feel really tacked on and not really in tune with the campaign, and they don't really do a good job of preparing you for post-game content like battle facilities, so why do they even exist?
Feels like they could have just been part of the main game and you'd lose nothing.

because they don't have to pull punches anymore and can go all out against the team you built where levels still matter and not where everyone gets set to 50

what's the difference whether you play them before or after the credits roll? they're the same routes either way.
the reason they're post-credits is probably so not to mess with the pacing of the main story. I bet they were designed after the rest of the game and they didn't want to rebalance the whole main game to slot in a few extra routes, so just make em post game and give people something to do after the credits roll. or not, they're totally optional, you don't have to do them.
