They revealed Legends Z-A in 2024, and had no news for it for basically a year. This has been an unprecedented drought in Pokémon news. Not only that, but this Pokémon Presents has been announced 2 months in advance, which is also completely unprecedented.
Basically, what I'm saying is that the current news cycle for Pokémon is completely different from any news cycle before (and filled with strange decisions) so I think the argument that Gen 10 won't be teased because "there's no way" or "it would be stupid" is very weak.
Other than that, they've been hyping up this Presents a lot. Hell, in Japan, it's going to get a pre-show. They clearly want a lot of people to look at this. Even if they don't show any gameplay for it, I legitimately think we might get a title reveal for the Gen 10 games.

I’m honestly half and half, but since gen 10 being revealed isn’t very popular, let me be devil’s advocate:

This Presents is getting an enormous amount of unusual hype. It was announced extremely early in advance, has an entire pre-show dedicated to it, and comes in the middle of an insanely dry period for news.

Most notably, its date is a reverse of Pokémon Day’s: instead of being on 2/27, it’s on 7/22, which I think has some significance given Gamefreak’s schizophrenic bending of the rules lately. They’re trying really hard to be subversive towards their traditions, so I can absolutely see them mostly focusing on Z-A and then dropping a Scarlet/Violet-tier teaser for gen 10.

Basically, I think things will play out as follows:
>Tomorrow’s Presents is mostly focused on Mobileslop with one big push for Z-A. This push for Z-A will kick off multiple months of smaller marketing reveals up until release.
>The Presents will end with some cryptic or very small reveal of gen 10, probably not going any further than starters + titles.
>This reveal will be followed up on next Pokémon Day, where there will be a whole official reveal trailer and lots of attention given to both gen 10 and the 30th anniversary,
>which will be heavily focused on through constant news updates until gen 10 releases.

I think this clicks most with what Gamefreak is going for. Hyping up this specific Presents so much just for Z-A makes little sense, so I think they’re trying to recapture normie attention spans for a long time yet. They’re going to draw them in with Z-A news and hook them in with gen 10, then keep feeding that goldfish memory with hit after hit regarding the brand so that they have a constant spotlight during the 30th anniversary and boost advertising + revenue during what will probably be a very profitable period.

TL;DR: I think they’ll be secretive about gen 10 until 2/27/26, but reveal it at this Presents to try and keep people interested in the brand.

Of COURSE it's "Nintendo at play", they delayed the Switch 2, so Game Freak had to delay L; Z-A (that one leak from here predicting the DLC focus and mentioning an SV upgrade that's now fully correct). That they turned around and announced L: Z-A would have a S2 upgrade just confirms it (better chance of S2 system sales on game launch than hoping people upgrade to play the superior version on system launch).

Prior to SV Pokemon was almost a yearly (year and a half-ish) franchise since BW. Its been about 3 years now. Thats more than enough time for production of a full game and polish. Even assuming it doesnt release this year thats pushing closer to 4 years between mainline games.
