Enough of this bullshit. Arbok has looked the same in every game since FRLG updated the sprite. Hoenn sprites were all over the place for all the dexcut mons. Blame Emerald for reusing the garbage RS sprites.

The new standard pattern is the same as the RB one
The GSC pattern is also the same as the RB pattern except it's updated slightly thanks to the better color palette, and the RSE one is a simple copy of that, except that RSE sprites are dogshit so it looks weird

The differences are not an intentional design, and in fact we haven't gotten a different pattern since gen 4 which standardized pokรฉmon designs

Yes, but the zigzags on the back are missing. That's an interesting aspect of the design that has since been abandoned. I kinda miss them.
