I’m saying this as a fan of a lot of these pokemon but a few of these megas dont really feel necessary when there aren’t really any standout Megas for people to really want to buy the game for.
It’s nice seeing a lot of these mons get megas, but also part of the appeal is old mons you liked getting revitalized by Megas.
It works for regionals/crossgens as you’re taking a Pokemon that already isn’t too functional and giving it new blood or biological function, but with Megas it feels a lot harder to justify that
