The biggest problem with this game is that it seems to have almost no shared DNA with Legends: Arceus. Arceus was a breathe of fresh air to the franchise, and managed to recapture a feeling of new discoveries despite a lack of new ‘mon. The premise of the game is even ‘we don’t know crap about these dudes, help us figure it out, future man’.

Z-A focuses on shopping, trainer battles, and walks in the park. It’s just SV with nicer graphics. Idk how they fucked this up so badly, dev money would have been better spent on a Switch 2 remaster of Arceus so it didn’t look like butt (literally the only problem).
