I get the Dragonair wings but why keeping both type of wings, they look mismatched and weird together, and honestly being kept afloat with wings strapped on your head is even dumber, probably leading to its heavy weight to snap his neck.
Adding orbs now that is mega doesn't make sense either, just like when Dragonair lost them and the blue color upon evolving, nothing was explained here.

The head wings on dragonair made sense because dragonair was already majestic therefore the wings were made to be complementary to the majestic look plus winged snake is a pretty coherent design

dragonite is a fatass dragon tales looking faggot therefore the majestic wings don't fit at all especially because it's not a snake anymore therefore the head wings just clash very badly and look mismatched since dragonite already had those on the back
the overly large tail is also terrible it doesn't look like it's a natural part of the body anymore
mega dragonite looks unbalanced as fuck it's trying to be "Majestic" while still looking like a fatass and it fails

I would bet money that they did it on purpose for the "quirky / endearingly ugly" angle that they've loved for decades now. It just doesn't work, as executed.
