She's on the cover, is a returning character and got decent screentime in the trailer. I'd say she'll be pretty important in the game.

The trailer shows her explaining the rogue megas, while standing side by side with AZ. So she will at the very least be one of the major questgivers. It seems to me that there will be multiple storylines side by side, kind of like in Paldea: we have the ZA royale as your battle progression, we have the rogue megas, then there's something about team MZ "protecting the city", and finally we still don't know what AZ's deal is - but he's likely also gonna be important to the story in some aspect.
