>>58035299>>58035825>No! You can ONLY use the name and tripcode features for the SPECIFIC things that I say so!The website gives people the option to use a name and a tripcode, nowhere is it said that those features should only be used a specific way. Merely using a tripcode/name at all on its own is not wrong and not against the rules. Yet because people have this wrong idea that the name/tripcode function can only used a specific way, then when someone dares use what's just an option available for posting. People go totally crazy with negative posts, drama posts, spam posts and so on which are against the rules.
Recurring posters also get similar treatment, and they're not even using a tripcode/name. Showing that there's people who go after those who have any any consistent recognizable aspects across posts, which also means there's people always on the lookout for any patterns between posts in an attempt find the next new "schizo" to then give the same treatment.
But then also in addition to even that, there's the extremely crazy practice of effectively pseudo-banning something that a recurring poster or a name/tripcode poster likes. By having that thing get the same bad treatment as the recurring poster or a name/tripcode poster that likes it when there's any positive mention of it. Either for assuming that any positive mention of the thing must actually be that poster, to spite that poster and so on. If that thing is part of the board's topic, that's preventing people from being on-topic for the board about that thing, in the place to talk about that thing.
If a poster does something bad, it's understandable to call it out, in the moment. But when a normal post rule abiding post is made by a recurring/name/tripcode poster and people go crazy with making bad posts as a result such as making spam posts, posts bringing up drama about the poster and general negative posts against the poster, then that's wrong and against the rules.
As this thread shows.
