firered hardcore nuzlocke and it took me 2 attempts (i wiped cause i forgot about rival fight on ss anne lol)

Congrats. FRLG are good games to start off nuzlocking since they have really good static encounters like Snorlax and Zapdos.

nice! my first was on emerald. would def recommend it. lots of good options for monotype runs in that game as well. i've done mono-water and mono-grass and they were both ridiculously easy.
