They announced on release it will have a limited roster that will be continuously expanded. The 350 number is probably made up. Isn’t this the same guy who gave a totally wrong leaked list of new mega for ZA, only for all the others leakers to agree on another list hours later?

As a comparison I counted the numbers of pokemon in smogon tier and if you go from Uber to PU you have a bit less than 250 pokemons.

They said nothing about continuous expansion of the roster, just that it would launch without having everything in Home available to use in it. If I had to guess, it'll work on rotation, keyed to the line-up in the latest games (to facilitate normalfags editing their shitters into hotshots for pvp) with reg sets for small periods of time before switching regs like in the core games. Thing's based off the core battle engine of Game Freak's, they're not going off-reservation to do what the fuck they like with it, they can't.

If you count an average of 1,5 NFE per pokemon you still end up with more than 110 fully evolved pokemon. On average a smogon tier is roughly 45 pokemons so even like that you would have the equivalent of 2 and an half tiers worth of pokemons.
