Blastoise players are one trick pony and just try to shove you away. All you need to do to stay slightly back so they don't harass you too much and charge into the landing zone to bounce the ball back.

For supports I'd recommend Mime as he's pretty bulky too and Alcremie if you want to go full backline healer/shield support, Latias also feels pretty strong all around in utility and damage.

Heracross and it's Mega for a mechanic around Skill Link, going from a up-close brawler that has some mid-ranged multi attacks like Pin Missile or Rock Blast to a slower but bulkier and harder hitting walking machine gun of rocks and needles that can bash you with Mega Horn or Close Combat if you rush in since it's not going to lose them when Mega'd, just less desirable since your projectile output is increased due to Skill Link and lowered movement speed, making Pin Missile and Rock Blast more appealing until someone attempts to rush you down.

Make it hindrance-resistant while in Mega mode and rapid firing Rock Burst or Pin Missile and when not Mega'd, make Pin Missile a burst fire move similar to Glaceon's Icicle Spear (minus the ice crystal build up, the wind up, AoE damage and the crazy high damage) and Rock Blast similar to Chandelure's Overheat lobbing, no follow up blast of fire and no burn but makes up for it with a higher amount of damage on each rock, faster rate of fire and causes a slow down.
