Hand disruption is a complete joke, they need to give us a proper control deck, all these "control" cards do jack shit half the time and the ones that could've actually done something requires a shitty evolution or a stage 2 with more than 1 energy cost. Red Card, Mars, Silver, Iono, Scope, and the opponent still top decks into the card they need.

I'm trying to figure out the amount of pack hourglasses one can generally get per month.

70 from monthly shop refresh
122 from daily missions (4 * 30.5 days)
75 from ultra ball rank 1 (achievable for most players)
20 more if you push to master ball rank

Right off the bat that's 267 per month, or 287 if you push for master ball rank each month.

Then 1st-time rewards for solo battles with each new set... making quick rough estimates here, but I think there's about 126 hourglasses for the "big" sets, and 80ish(?) for the "mini" sets. Assuming they keep doing a monthly rotation of big/mini/mini, that's roughly 286 hourglasses every 3 months, or 95 per month on average. So that's now 362-382 hourglasses per month.

Then there's the promo drop events (which I think are monthly?) which also have 1st-time rewards... the alcremie one gave you 20 hourglasses, so I assume it's similar for all of them. So now up to 382-402.

Then there's extra ones you get here and there from other events, but those aren't as consistent or easy to measure. A handful gotten by chance from the bonus picks in wonder pick events. 60 hourglasses from the summer event missions (july). 120(!) hourglasses from the 6-month anniversary event missions. 12 hourglasses from pokemon day event missions (march). I'm just gonna arbitrarily say you can expect about 30 hourglasses per month on average from these sorts of events. And that's probably being conservative, but it at least gives a baseline of what to expect (with anything more than 30 just being a bonus).

Putting our final total at...

Rescue Scarf says it doesn't move your pokemon to the discard pile when knocked out and returns it to your hand instead. Turns out you still take the points for the knockout though, it just returns the card to your hand. So what's the fucking point and the point of wording it that way? Cringe.

Seems sub-optimal somehow but I can't put my finger on why exactly. Looks like you've got a lot of potential to brick unless you open togapi, especially with all those trainer cards. Could try dropping the sylveon package and adding 1 toagtic and 2 pokemon communication and something like Mewtwo EX so you can have stronger/more reliable damage for your ideal last card after both togakiss get knocked out plus that's somewhere to start adding up your additional energy. Might find repel is often more usable than having both Cyrus and Sabrina but that's beside the point and subjective.

And just to clarify my point of saying to consider dropping the Eevee package to make your deck more reliable despite the reduced draw power is that you're guaranteed to open with at least 1 basic pokemon in your starting hand by the game so without the Eevee you'll open at least 1 togapi every single game and you could then drop 1 pokeball and/or adding Mewtwo EX so your deck is just Togakiss x2 then Mewtwo EX every single match. Otherwise you might have to retreat your Sylveon/Eevee ~50% of the time or worse have a Sylveon ex knocked out first instead of last after both Togakiss which would be ideal. Then again the energy surplus issue and the need to retreat Sylveon issue does sort of seem to cancel itself out somewhat so perhaps I am inserting problems that don't actually exist for your play style.

I honestly think Moltres is better than the Magbys here, with just one coin flip going your way you can be threatening a 70 damage attack next turn if you've got the energy transfer item, plus it also doesn't die to absolutely everything. Two coinflips and you've already ramped Ho-oh for next turn.
With the perfect hand you can also just attack with Ho-oh on your 2nd turn.

All the while ramping up Ray, which comes in and cleans.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, perfect world you make them fight through 2 Togakiss first then a Sylveon Ex but Sylveon Ex is actually garbage and the Eevee just messes up your deck's likelihood of drawing into the correct order massively.

With 1/2 togatic and 2 pokemon communication you seriously increase your chances of evolving the Togapi into Togakiss. Plus Pokemon Communication and Repel are both item cards instead of trainer cards so switching these into your deck definitely helps prevent bricking with too many of your trainer cards. Overall I think that's my biggest critique of your deck is that 50% of the time you could open Eevee instead of Togapi then half your deck are suddenly bricks. And at any point you run the risk of games where you draw like Sabrina > Cyrus > Cynthia > Cynthia > Rare Candy > Rare Candy > Pokeball > Pokeball > Lillie and die long before you develop anything at all. So that's why Guaranteeing the Togapi opener and adding Pokemon Communication to help insure you draw your stuff in the correct order to get value makes sense to me.

Theres surprising potential value from running Penny (especially when you go 1st) because you can be certain your opponent WILL be running 2 Professors Research. Of course depending on your rank and the meta this season it seems like people will be adding more trainer cards on average and that would ruin that potential. Could also consider running an Iono which is pretty good for when you draw your deck in the wrong order especially if they've already used their 2 pokeballs or pokemon communications to manicure their hand.

This is true. Espeon itself is a shit card, it's just that Eevee has so much going on for it that it makes Espeon actually good. It's primarily carried by Sylveon actually, who's OP in its own right, but usually forced to just play attackless support in most decks. Sharing an energy with it (lol @ TCG making fairies into psychic, or "super" types as the Japanese version calls them) means that even if you somehow have a game where you're bricked with Sylveon...you're not actually bricked cause 70 attack by turn 2/3 is still good enough to hold out early game. Espeon doesn't do much more damage but the point of the deck is that it's virtually unbrickable and has a lot of flexibility in the cards around it. There is no bad starting hand to Eevee decks with Sylveon.

What's the espeon decklist? Also how does it deal with high attack decks, neither espeon nor sylveon hit that hard.

If you're ramping with Moltres then you have to give the energy to Ho-oh since Moltres' energy is restricted to only fire mons. Ray is enabled with just one Ho-oh attack, so no need to preemptively charge him manually.
