When it comes to autistically determining a pokemon's personality, which would be more important, marks or natures? And what even is the difference between them lorewise?
>>58083163 (OP)Natures. Marks are just Ribbons with a different name meant to encourage players to catch more Pokémon in their empty open worlds.
>>58083163 (OP)Mostly natures, but IVs also add "characteristics". For example, a Lucario with its strongest IV being Attack with a value of 30 (or 25, 20, etc...) will be "Proud of its power".
>>58083185marks show more specific personalities than natures tho
>>58083212>>58083185Natures are behavioral tendencies. Marks are dispositions.
>>58083447my ass (it's true though)
>>58083163 (OP)1. Characteristics
2. Anything really cool that has happened to it
3. Species
4. Nature
5. EVs
6. Marks
But of course, the most important aspect, is what I want it to be.
The combination of characteristics and nature do a good job at giving each pokemon an individual ‘personality’. There’s a lot of combinations (750, in fact) so you’re unlikely to see duplicates.

>>58083895I actually get that someone would want an specific caracteristic for his ace mon
