Let's say I have everything possible unlocked for Academy Brendan with all the orbs to take whatever I need. I'm torn on what to choose for the 4th move, with the first 3 being the obligatory Waterfall, Liquidation, and Offensive Studies. I like the EQ branch because it comes with extra Atk and AoE debuffing/interference, but Move Gauge Boost is tempting me because of the evasion and count ramping (-2). I have HS1 LS on NC May so between her and Brendan I can reach my 1st Sync after 1 round if I take Move Gauge Boost. But, it comes at the expense of like 180 Atk from the EQ branch. So I'm not sure which to pick. I feel like I've safely ruled out Growl and Defensive Studies, so I'm just between MGB and EQ if anyone has any helpful insights on which is more advantageous.

Pick Quake Attack, he is more of nuker oriented academy pair compared to utility Rosa and Support tech Florian.
Of all the options I have never heard of anyone picking Move Gauge branch or explaining its benefits, even with May's Rain he would do fine with its powerhouse build, plus for the Water Tower he doesn't even run a team with EX Rain which is more of a Special DPS exclusive style as their fights end quickly between Sprint/Field, buddy moves and countdown accelerating passives so they don't have to struggle to maintain Rain for that long beside the fact all three members there have ways to set it up smoothly.
I heard valid takes on Defense Studiea and Growl but Summer Cynthia for example makes a good support for Brendan adding in both team defenses buffs and opp debuffs together with NC Serena who god knows what will get on her grid expansion, hoping for Adrenaline 2 and something else broken like Hit: Sync Next Up, so in two turns she reaches +10 sync buff, but that is too optimistic.

the nate member in the poke camp gym has been dead for 12 days in a row and it's anni season, he has been dead for like 5 or 6 days in a row (while the missions were active) and so on last month too, i think he quit but in general isn't contributing much to the gym right now, perhaps it's time to scout a new gym member unless we wait for a 14 days strike for further confirmation first

Hmm ok, yeah playing really fast to conserve EX Rain uptime since it's forced on entry was what I had in mind. If you say EX Rain isn't even necessary to win with him on the top floors I'll stick to EQ/extra Atk then. I only need him to be there for me on the highest physical floor, as I'll likely swap his slot to Dahlia for 30.

You can check the replays and builds, so far you can see EQ for the attack stats and trapping but he applies interference with the right branch of the upper build too, same with Serena's Brutal Swing Flabbergast. As long as you have good teammates and acceptable Brendan's bulk on grid you should do fine, plus you can also invest in skill gears.

Yeah I figured I could go without trapping since I had Gobsmack, plus was a little worried about having too many interferences set because of the little delays taking their toll on the weather uptime. Gobsmack/Confusion is forced in order to access the circle extension so I chose that one. I already got a grid I was content with on a 1% Blue run that has maxed bulk and 1 tile short of max offense, but it had a lot of unnecessary green left over so I was fishing to see if I could get an even better run while the event is still up and we're still getting stamina injections (which led me to why I was wondering if the grass was greener on the MGB side earlier).

One Piece Treasure Cruise special units locked behind special event always updated their shop after two months with old units plus the power ups for their grid you can purchase with current item leftover event shop currency for example, wish we had the same but the closest thing here is BP units and we can't even max put the 5* ones and had to wait years before they started giving away dupes of launch 5* freebie to finally 5/5 an awful Cheren support and Acerola, sometimes DeNA has no clue of what they are doing.

Oh yeah I hear you loud and clear, I have no idea why we're stuck with them at 1/5 since that ties directly to their output. I heard some whales even candied him up anyway which is hilarious but also sad. In the cases of Rose and Florian it didn't matter as much but Brendan is an actual attacker so he wants all of it. I'm only even going so hard on him because he's an actually impressive unit this time around when completed, better than a ton of banner units, otherwise I would have been fine with the minimum. It's also kind of a shame that they made it just Marshtomp, since it feels more like a Swampert given how powerful it is. I hope you manage to get Gladion but even if you don't, if you land a Blue you'll get to enjoy most of what he does anyway.

Ok, no way Nolands UB has always been part of Battle Rally. I have been playing this mode since it released and today was the first time i have gotten it, and its pretty bullshit that they added a OHKO gimmick fight like that to the rally.
