By not learning from their consistent mistakes, starting from Sword and Shield. Ugly 3D models are just unfortunately the new thing they're sticking with. They could easily go back to XY/SM models, which were leagues better, but nope. Get used to these ugly models that look like budget Pixar knockoffs.

It's not even a design issue for the most part (it IS for some characters, however) it's the human models they all use as a base that is crap.
