Unironically the game would look borderline fine if the buildings weren't flat. It just makes anything else look embarassing next to them.

1 shitty setting + lame af characters + killing a beloved character + unplayable on switch 1 basically + broken battle system + no breeding + woke + mediocre music and designs + dexit + feature cuts + overpriced game and dlc + predatory mega lock with forced online + poor imagining of kalos (which isnt a high point in pokemon)

I still think Scarlet and Violet were better games overall but this has some good stuff in it.
For example walking along, your path being blocked by slime and being able to send out a water pokemon and use any water move that it knows to hose it away is great. Not a specific move, not summoning some random pokemon from the ether to do it but exploring in a natural way using the pokemon you have on hand with the moves that they know.
This is what HMs should have been replaced by and though its implementation in ZA is very rudimentary it's heartening to see Game Freak on the right track
