Quick question. Do static Alpha's only spawn in shiny once? I have caught the shiny Alpha Pikachu in area 6 once but now after 8 hours of nonstop bench auto resets with a turbo controller on top of around 6 hours of doing it manually I haven't seen a second one. I have the charm as well. I understand that this can just be shit luck, but I am just curious if anyone has gotten more than one of the same static alpha shiny.

If I'm doing the duplicated pokemon exploit and one of them becomes shiny, but it's NOT the shiny I want, will that spawn become permanently unavailable if I catch it? Or will the spawn remain in place and create a new pokemon there once the cooldown resets?

You have to catch/KO it, otherwise it won't roll again. Then you have to set up that spawn.

I see. I'm using the method on Chespin/Diggersby, not zone 20 (and got shiny Diggersby, of course). Figured out that I can just focus on duplicating 1 spawn while leaving the other 4 unaggroed, so it isn't that bad. I was worried I'd have to start from the very beginning.

If you meant my post last night about charmander, you can get 7 charmander/tepig spawns independent of the alpha spawns, but you a) need to pull them to two different gates and b) you can’t fast travel or use benches, as for some reason that will cause the spawns to decrease by one for some reason. No middle holes for me when I was setting up the spawns, just on the sides. I guess that's something to test eventually.

As far as I can tell, having 2 holes per spawn point guarantees 1 of them is a Chespin. For now, I'm happy with the 6 since that's 3 Chespin per load.

Depends on your target.
For example there are some mons like Slowpoke or Kangaskhan that you can see right outside the wild area they spawn in so the best method is just spamming fast travel to that area
There are other mons who are present both day and night near a bench so spamming a on a bench is the best for them (area 20 alphas)
Some mons live in areas large enough that you can move in a predetermined path to de-and-respawn them like in Area 20 or the Mawiles and Sableyes in Area 9 . And others spawn in areas that are easy to fast travel to but only with specific battle zone spawns like Skarmory. So my advice is to pick a mon first and figure out the best way to make it respawn. You’ll know its being respawned if its gender and/or level change. There’s also some glitchy methods to increase spawn generations in specific areas but they are hard to set up.

Yes obviously all pokemon are being reloaded when you go up and down the stairs you can't check that way since it'll be loaded in when you approach. You have to use the pin and check the distance. I timed the Fennekin strats on Switch 2.

It does I just reset there until I saw and alpha Furfrou spawn inside of zone. you're overestimating how much is in range because it's definitely not half it's just the corner and doesn't even reach the gate. Pokemon spawn in at 50m, they despawn at 70m. So you put a pin down where the pokemon spawns and run between 50m and 70m and they'll despawn and rerolll for when you run within 50m and respawn.

The visibility range is just decreased when a Pokemon is inside of a zone and you're outside of it. They still spawn in with all the same rules otherwise. The visibility range for alphas is increased that's why I looked for one to spawn specifically. Everything in 50m is spawning it's just not hitting a lot in Zone 19.
