After doing this like 100x it works best if you let the mon run back to the lamp so you have extra distance getting them to snap to the tower nest.

If you’re trying to snap a pokemon to the left/center I’ve found pulling from the left and snapping to the right seems to get them to stick better than pulling from the left and snapping to the left. No idea why. Sameish for the opposite side. Pull from the right, snap it to the left. But in general the right hand snap side just seems to be more successful.

By snapping I mean the final spot you’re pulling the pokemon back to the tower to. When you warp away after reloading the alpha snaps back into one of the nests and makes it “active”.

Best mon to pull are Kaijumon, pseudos, big fat fatties like garbodor, monkeys, roserade. Absol is a meme don’t pull it.

I've been shiny alpha hunting a scoliopede/whirlipede in zone 15 for a week now, and I have 4 alpha shiny beedrill, and near 20 non alpha whirlipede/scoliopede.

Is the game proccing the beedrill alpha first, somehow inhibiting the capacity for an alpha pede to pop?

You're doing it in the wrong spot. I know where you are, at the sewer door, because I tried there for a few days. You're just shy of the resetting affecting the majority of venipede, and it's a 40/60 shot whether it touches the alpha whirlipede.

Your best bet is the zone 15 bench.
