I don't want anime, because I like human characters to have noses. But these people look like anthropomorphic chipmunks, with their weird puffy cheeks and that odd nose shape that faintly suggests the long, forward-jutting slope of a cat's or rodent's face. The ladies' hairstyle also looks ugly, and their proportions seem slightly wrong. They look like they might have Y chromosomes. Yes it's not the worst possible art, but it's quite bad.

Yeah, it doesn't substantially hurt the game or anything. The parodic aspect of the setting excuses "hot babes" who aren't actually hot. It's just that it'd be slightly better if they were humorous yet off-putting elements of an exaggerated Robocop-style dystopia AND sexy ladies at the same time.
