GoldenEye gets the most attention, and though I do see praise for Nightfire here and there, I rarely see anyone talk about pic related. The driving levels are extremely fun and I like the switch to third person

Those third person games are pretty damn good.

Not so much these days, but there was a time there maybe like 10-15 years ago when all people did was make fun of Sonic R.

Sonic R is in my opinion still a top 5 Sonic game today

This game will never be of all time. It is forever stuck being only of some time.

This game and Tomorrow Never Dies sucked, although this one was much better than TND.
For me it's Police Quest SWAT, game that tends to be hated by both Police Quest OG's and later SWAT fans but I found it to be my favorite of both, something about the story telling and procedures being a good mix of slower and "action" gameplay. For that matter I also really like SWAT 2 in concept but it's just not that fun to actually play.

The World Is Not Enough will remain my favourite Bond title, but that's partially tinted by nostalgia goggles. Its single player has its flaws (fuck that final mission), multi player was and still is to me more fun than GoldenEye.
Weapon spawn set to 'explosive', small map like castle or submarine, 10 min time limit, let the mayhem ensue.

I see. Have never been a fan of battle but it's cool to see another Heroes fan, I'd probably put it in my top 5 too

I am mostly nostalgic for the PS1 version of TWINE

EoN was pretty good though.

GE, TWINE, AUF and NF are ultimately the only bond games worth playing

Pic unrelated, this game sucks, shitty level design, retarded lock on combat, awful driving sections. Agent Under Fire is the underrated Bond game

I was a car nut as a kid so I was super excited to see and try the driving levels in Nightfire. I spent 10 hours downloading the PC version over 56k dial-up only to discover it was the only version of the game that lacked driving levels. I was incredibly disappoint

TND was a cool game and a very faithful tie-in to the movie. It probably would be more highly regarded, if GoldenEye hadn't been such roaringly successful killer app before it

Everything or Nothing is just a great game in general. We didn't get a Bond film that year so they went all-out in trying to give us one in game form. Does it have problems? Yeah but it polished the good aspects to a blinding shine.

I thought that game sucked donkey dick when a friend of mine convinced me to buy a used copy 15 years ago. It was disappointing coming from Nightfire and Agent Under Fire.

I've been meaning to give TWINE another chance. Can you set the controls in the N64 version to be like GE's 1.2 layout? I didn't start playing console FPSs until 6th gen, so I can't stand control layouts where aiming and moving aren't independent.

TWINE has different control schemes you can choose, I don't know off the top of my head if any are like GE's 1.2 scheme

I think the problem was everyone wanted to see EoN as another shooter, which it wasn't, it was a "Bond Simulator". Driving kinda sucked though.

TWINE is great, just not better than goldeneye imo. The mp in twine was excellent, though. Lots of creative maps and fun settings. Goldeneye simply hit upon an iconic, timeless gameplay formula that I donโ€™t think anyone could replicate, let alone beat. Commendable job by Eurocom and EA nonetheless.
