I like its story better than Twin Peaks. I like the way it never becomes explicitly supernatural and never gets too wacky, it uses the same atmosphere more effectively. Also unlike Twin Peaks it doesn't have a garbage middle third.

If you didn't watch it before the third part came out you'll never understand how that second season just made it feel like the entire series was the biggest fucking waste of time. You're not doing it right though, you're supposed to say "L-Lynch wasn't even involved with much of the second season!"

I did watch it before for the third part came out, I watched it without knowing other people hated the second half. Guess what, Lynch loved soaps. Guess what, Twin Peaks is a soap.
