Just finished this game and damn was it a good time. The pacing and level design were so peak that it never got boring. The perfect amount of challenge as well. Are the other games in the series worth a look at?

Not really, no.
>VJ2 is just more of the same except with a poorly-developed tag-team mode; Silvia is nigh-useless except for the puzzles that require her guns and Replay
>Double Trouble (besides not being /vr/) is dreck that heavily suffers from being an early DS game that forces touchscreen gimmicks on you
>Red Hot Rumble wants to be Smash Bros., but flops at actually being fun like Smash Bros.
