Dark Cloud uses randomly generated dungeons.
It's more comparable to Diablo than Zelda.

They're also, y'know, entirely different genres. Dark Cloud is a dungeon crawler town builder action RPG hybrid, Zelda is an action adventure with puzzles. It really isn't fair to go throwing a game that not only has procedural generation but a totally different gameplan at another, even if DC1 is just plain chonky to get through.
