Well it's the Guinea Pig author/director. Either that appeals to you or it doesn't.

Everyone's gonna call me a weeb gooner, but there's like a million high-quality actually really good visual novels out there that still aren't translated. Given that information, it's bizarre that so many literally who JP console games get translationg, especially considering that it's easier to hack a visual novel than a PS1 rom

>a weeb gooner
If you're that deep into obscure Japanese media, you're playing the games raw and using what knowledge of the language you have (at the very least you should have some reading and comprehension, games with kanji are a lot easier to follow than FC games).

Lol no. I just wanna goon to anime girls (and sometimes the story is kino too which is extra) but lol no I'm not learning a language for that. That's schizophrenic as hell

I was just pointing out like, why aren't these translators translating PC visual novels. There are so many good ones out there still in japanese.

This isn't literally who when the art for the game is by Hideshi Hino. If you don't know what Guinea Pig is you're not a true weeb

Putting the technical hacking aspects aside this game looks 1000x easier to translate than just about anything else. Extremely short (~3 hours looking around Youtube), so little Japanese culture references you could say that the game could take place in Europe or America if you just change the character names, sentences even an N5 trying to "practice" can do (but will still fuck up anyway).

These retarded mouth breathers should try learning Japanese and hacking so they can translate whatever the fuck they want for a change... But I guess that'd be too much to ask from a moron who can't even write proper English and most probably fucks up basic arithmetic.

It's got a good creepy atmosphere and it's funny. The second game is more of an actual story, but I don't know if that's going to get translated.

Good to know, will definitely avoid. I refuse to waste my time and clog up my mind with the creations of some subhuman sadistic pervert.

As a Hideshi Hino fan I had always had a fascination with the two of these, always just figured he's too niche for anyone to ever bother with them. Even with it translated I don't think I would even botber playing it myself, probably standard IF quality garbage. Mostly just curious to see a narrative finally to better understand the art, seeing his art interpreted via the lowest quality ps1 3d you can imagine feels like you're looking at something cursed.

I find his film work pretty hard to watch but ejoy his manga work. The more cartoony style makes the excesively grotesque imagery easier to stomach.
