There was a period of time that Super Famicom games were much cheaper than buying their western equivalent so I just modded my SNES (with pliers!) and started buying stuff like the Japanese versions of Super Double Dragon and Super Bomberman.

I did this but the only one that was significant enough in price (and had a WAY better sticker) was super metroid. Though I probably bought this like almost 15 years ago but the jp version was still almost 60-70% cheaper
